SunUnplug ("SunUnplug", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website (sununplug.com), request a solar panel removal-and-reinstall quote, or otherwise interact with us, and how we use, share and protect that information.

SunUnplug operates as a lead-routing service. Installation work is performed by our partner contractor, RTM Power Energy LLC (Florida Electrical Contractor License EC13016044).

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you submit our quote form, we collect:

Contact details: name, phone number, email address
Project details: property address, approximate panel count, roof-replacement timeline, optional message, and (with your permission) the geographic coordinates of the address

Information collected automatically

Device & browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL
Usage data: pages viewed, time on site, language preference
Cookies & local storage: we store a single value (sup-lang) to remember your language choice between EN and ES

2. How We Use Your Information

To respond to your quote request and provide a personalized removal-and-reinstall estimate
To schedule consultations, site assessments and project appointments
To coordinate timing with your roofing contractor
To communicate about your project, including permits, equipment handling and warranty preservation
To send you service updates or — only with your consent — marketing about solar services
To improve our website and services
To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud

TCPA Consent Notice By submitting our quote form, you agree to be contacted by SunUnplug and its operating partner RTM Power Energy by phone, text (SMS) and email at the number and address you provide, including via automated dialing systems, for the purpose of providing your quote and related communications. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text or by contacting us directly.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to deliver the service:

Operating partner: RTM Power Energy LLC, the Florida-licensed contractor that performs the physical removal and reinstall work
Service providers: Google Workspace (Sheets, Apps Script, Gmail) for lead management; our hosting provider (Netlify); analytics tools (if enabled). These vendors are contractually required to safeguard your data.
Your roofer: with your permission, we may coordinate timing with the roofing contractor handling your re-roof
Legal compliance: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property or safety

4. Data Retention

We keep lead and project information for as long as you remain a customer, plus a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, warranty and dispute-resolution requirements. Marketing data is retained until you opt out.

5. Your Rights & Choices

Access & correction: request a copy of the personal information we hold and ask us to correct inaccuracies
Deletion: request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations
Opt-out: unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time (link in every message) or reply STOP to text messages. You may still receive transactional messages related to an active project.
Do Not Call: if you are on a Do Not Call registry and submit our form, your consent supersedes the registry only for the project you requested

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including HTTPS encryption, access controls and reputable cloud providers — to protect your information. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we promptly address any vulnerabilities we identify.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adult homeowners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Florida & U.S. Residents

This website is operated from Florida, USA. We comply with applicable Florida and federal privacy laws. If you reside outside the U.S., understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection rules than your country.
